Ordered Classic Performance Products Stage 1 Pro Touring Kit With Springs/Shocks Mustang 1967-1970, with the 1 in drop springs. Finally got it all installed, but the sway bar doesnt seem right. With the car on the ground, the sway bar sits below the oil pan. Do I have it in upside down? Did’nt seem like it would fit the other way. Could use some assistance. Thanks

Hello,

Sorry for the delay getting back to you, we wanted to take a little time to look into this. The sway bar you received is correct for your vehicle. The position you’re seeing is due to suspension geometry. The front offset is designed into the bar on certain applications to provide proper crank pulley clearance when the suspension is at full droop.

Once the vehicle is on the ground, the bar can appear lower depending on end link length. In your case, shortening the end links should bring it up and improve the position. If you’d prefer, we can also get you set up with shorter end links. Give us a call at 714-522-2000 and one of our techs will be happy to help.
