Steven Lambert from Houston, Texas, has owned his 1972 Chevy C10 for over 15 years. Originally a stock farm truck from Indiana that he bought from his father-in-law, the C10 has since evolved into a California-inspired surf truck aptly named California Dreamin’.
Living near Galveston, Steven and his son spend time surfing, and that lifestyle heavily influenced the build, including a custom surfboard finished in the same medium blue and linen white color combo as the truck. While Steven hasn’t made it to California yet, the West Coast vibe lives on through this C10.
When it came time to upgrade the suspension, Steven turned to Classic Performance Products, installing multiple CPP components, including tubular control arms, trailing arms, and crossmembers. He credits CPP for their high-quality parts, perfect fitment, and true bolt-on installation with no fabrication required.
The result is a truck that drives great, looks right, and represents years of inspiration, family memories, and classic truck passion, all built and enjoyed in Texas.
