CPP SS Series – Street Trac Traction Bars
If you’re running a classic muscle car with leaf springs and want to get the power to the pavement without wheel hop, the CPP Street Trac Traction Bars are built to do exactly that.Designed for street performance but proven on the track, these traction bars help control axle wrap and keep your rear suspension planted when you hit the throttle.
One of the nice design features is the separate rear bracket system. Because the rear brackets are not vehicle-specific, the bars can work with virtually any tie plate, making installation simpler and more universal for a wide range of classic muscle car applications.
Up front, the system uses an anti-torque strap with a flat engagement surface. This spreads the load across the leaf spring when the traction bar engages, which helps reduce stress on the spring and extend spring life compared to many traditional traction bar designs.
