1963 c10 camber problems

I installed the front brake disc conversion with the 2.5 inch drop kit # 6370swbk-6d on my 63 c10 and cannot get my camber to adjust to any lower than 3 degrees positive and need to be O or 0.05 negative. All front suspension is new including new front coils which are supposed to be stock height. I did measure and the new spindles are a 1” taller between the ball joints than the old stock ones. It seems that my upper control arms are to high and causing them to be straight out from the frame instead of tapered downward which brings the top of the spindle in for negative camber. Anyone run into this problem before? Please help!

Before we start digging into measurements or asking you to send pictures, I want to confirm one quick thing. Is the truck fully assembled and sitting on the ground with the full weight on the suspension, or are you working with just a frame or partially assembled front end?

If the vehicle is not fully loaded and sitting on the ground yet, the camber reading you are seeing is not meaningful at this stage. When the engine, sheet metal, and the rest of the vehicle weight are on the suspension, the control arm angles will change and the camber will come back into range.

Let us know if the truck is fully assembled and on the ground, and we can help walk through the next steps if needed. Happy to help get it sorted. Have a great day!
