All right. This is Danny Nix with CPP, and I have a really quick tech tip for you when you're making a custom line like this. This happens to be the power steering hose. I like to get one end started where it's going to mount on the steering box. Lay the hose where you want to run it to, up to the fitting.
Make one mark for the length where you want to cut the hose off, and then make another mark that shows the rotation. And the idea is when you're over on the vice, you can set this rotation and get it clocked
right, so you don't have to do it over and over.
I see that happen a lot, especially with a stainless steel hose, where it's way more difficult to reseat that hose after you tighten it down once. So this is a real big help.
